- Use keywords from the job description to get past automated filters and grab the recruiter’s attention.
2. Not Having a Digital Presence
We live in a connected world, and not having an updated LinkedIn profile is like not existing in the professional world. This mistake might be the reason why a recruiter isn’t even considering you.
My advice:
- Create or update your LinkedIn profile.
- Use a professional photo and write a summary that highlights your most important skills and achievements.
- Connect with people in your industry and engage in relevant conversations.
